Search for Met Office stations

Please note: This search facility can only be used to search for information held at the BADC in the old database - so only data recorded before 2000. In the year field do not put any date after 1999 or you will receive NIL results.

This form allows you to search for Met Office stations by station name, by county, by OS grid location and by latitude/longitude location. To search all Met Office stations and for additional options use the advanced search.

Finds all station names contain the given string. The string is matched anywhere within the station name and is not case sensitive.

Search for stations surrounding a given point using OS grid references   Advanced search   Help

Only for stations within Britain. Enter a four or six figure grid reference.

This search can be used to find stations in Britain, or anywhere in the world. Enter values in decimal degrees.
