HIRDLS conditions of use

To access HIRDLS data at the BADC, all data users involved in HIRDLS must agree to abide by the following conditions, and be approved for access by the UK HIRDLS PI.

The primary archive for final HIRDLS data will be at the Distributed Active Archive Centre (DAAC) in the USA but will be mirrored at the BADC for long term ease of access by UK scientists. The BADC may also hold data at early stages of processing that may not be stored long term at the DAAC.

Data from the HIRDLS instrument stored at the BADC will initially be restricted to members of the HIRDLS science and validation team authorised by the principal investigator. At such time as the DAAC release their data into the public domain the final data mirrored from the DAAC will be made available publicly at the BADC under the same conditions as the data in the DAAC. At a principal investigator's request, access may be extended to personally authorised collaborators. Whilst the data are restricted from the public domain, no data should be transferred to a third party without the principal investigator's consent.

I agree to abide by the conditions for usage of HIRDLS data as stated above.
