BADC conditions of use
Data from the British Antartic Survey have been made available for use through the BADC according to the following conditions:
- The BADC will store details of what you intend
to use the data for. The principle investigator(s) and other persons needed to administer and monitor the dataset's use may be given these details
- The BADC uses cookies to maintain session information for web downloads.
- When using BAS data to support your study,
you are kindly asked to acknowledge their provider(s) in any subsequent publication. Your acknowlegement should take the following form:
"Data from the British Antartic Survey (BAS) was kindly provided by BAS, http://www.antartica.ac.uk/met/data/, through the British Atmospheric Data Centre (BADC), http://badc.nerc.ac.uk."
Data provided through the BADC are covered by the "Terms and Conditions for data and information provided by the NERC/BADC".
Terms and Conditions for BAS data and information provided by BAS
Data collected by Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) funded scientists in the Antartic and Souhtern Ocean is subject to the NERC Data Policy, and data collected by all UK funded scientists is subject to Article III.1.c of the Antartic Treaty.
