ECMWF Trajectories Web Service

BADC WWW Trajectory Service

The BADC now provides a WWW interface to an atmospheric trajectory model.
The trajectory service can be found at:

http://www.badc.rl.ac.uk/community/trajectory/

The service uses ECMWF operational data, which is a restricted access dataset.  This means that you will have to complete a form to use the
service.  Any user of the BADC who already has access to the ECMWF operational data and the ECMWF trajectories held at the BADC will have
already completed the required forms. These users have been given access to the service, and so do not need to complete a new form.

There will inevitably be some teething problems with the service.  If you find a bug, or have any problems,
then please let us know.  If you make
a bug report please include the following information:

1. The browser you use (please include the browser version).
2. The page the bug occurred on. Give the title of the page as it
   appears in the browser window title.
3. The nature of the problem.
4. Any error messages.

We are aware that the trajectory service is not perfect - there will be a continued development of the trajectory model and the interface to the
model.  A list of planned improvements and additions is on the web.  
If you have any suggestions for other improvements let the BADC know.
